One of the best app games lots of fun

Fun game but the touch controls are soooo frustrating. They make me want to give up playing the game. There are some instances where you cant do the task or interact with objects like you know you need to to solve puzzles. Try the game somewhere else.

Maybe its just me, but I found controlling the characters to be too finicky. I like the graphics, and the sense of humour, but I found myself having to repeatedly try things over and over because I couldnt get the timing of something exactly right. Too frustrating. I deleted it only part of the way in and now Im wishing I hadnt paid so much for it.

I can see where this could be an amazing game, that has style and creativity (like all Double Fine games), but as it is, the controls are terrible. I spend more time dying trying to jump over a gap then I do actually playing the game. Im right near the beginning still, and already too frustrated with the controls to bother continuing. The definitely need to add on screen touch buttons for your movement and actions, as what is there just doesnt work well. I ran into the same problem, though not as bad, with costume quest. With these changes, I can see this moving up to a 4.5 star rating.

Just fix the controls.

The game, art, humour, and puzzles are really fun, but there are a couple problems. -The controls are absolutely terrible. Climbing up ladders is hard, sometimes you jump off and then go back on and off on and off etc. Sometimes trying to push a box would take 20 or so tries. -Replayability was something I was excited for, but after beating the first play through with my first three choices of characters, I found out that apparently you have to replay ALL the puzzles, even the ones youve already completed, not just the character specific ones. Maybe this is something most games have, but its annoying. If it wasnt a puzzle game I would be fine with it, but it takes away from the fun of it.

There is big issue here! Look at here sega ! I cant opened the game. It only I see "touch the begin" screen but even I touch nothing change. Still there that "touch the begin" fix this!

Can somebody help me? How to change characters within the game? Or it is impossible? Thanks.

Small sprites looks awful on retina, totally unintuitive controls. PC version is much better!

I bought this on XBL and was hooked! I had to get it for iOS, so I could have it on the go- However, the controls on iOS (iPhone) are MADDENINGLY BAD... Avoid this like the plague.

When I looked at the reviews initially, I was skeptical. Are the controls really that bad? But when I bought the game, I knew I had hit something that would pique my interests. Fantastic puzzles, intuitive storytelling, and interesting plot all factor into my review. I do have one problem...the controls really arent perfect. But if you look in the menu, they tell you how it works, and after a little experimentation, you get used to it.

Created by Ron Gilbert, the mind that brought eternal joy to the universe with the legendary Monkey Island, this game is a masterpiece. Excellent design, great writing, fun at every turn, dark humor, good puzzles... Gilbert and his team have been able to capture the joy of the golden era of adventure games in a beautifully detailed cutout 3D environment that feels like a mix between a platformer and a classic graphic adventure. This is a must have game.

The controls may not be perfect, but the game is absolutely playable and absolutely worth checking out.

Im enjoying the game, but it crashes fairly often, sometimes at the end of a level forcing you to replay the whole thing. "Save game" function doesnt seem to actually do anything. Frustrating.

I absolutely love this game! However, I would suggest getting it on the iPad, if you have one. The controls work perfectly fine, they are just a little different. The game itself has little to no bugs, and is amazingly stunning with graphics and voice acting. If you get this game you wont regret it!

The graphic style, storyline, and characters are amazing with each have unique story & puzzles but it has slight glitches and bugs which tends to shut the app close. The moment a hit pause it shuts the app. Please fix it

Love the game. Fun, creative, and addicting. Having trouble with a glitch in the circus level - has anyone made it past the "guess your weight" guy?? I think my game keeps glitching at that point. Up to now, the game has been great!

I play it on my iPad and have been addicted to it since I opened it. Puzzles are awesome and the game changes depending on your team.. Its funny and creepy all at the same time. Controls are NOT awful, you just have to get used to them and my app never crashed. It really requires you to think and use creativity. Get the game, its awesome.

I have this on OSX, but its such a great game I decided it was worth buying twice so that I dont have to sit at my laptop to play it. You can play it all the way through twice, and still have one character left over. Its clever, well-written and funny with puzzles that are just challenging enough and lots of nifty touches. I wish there were more games like this out there.
